ºìÌÒÊÓƵ College joins the global community in mourning the passing of Pope Francis. He led with humility, compassion, a profound commitment to the dignity of every person, and the stewardship of our common home. His teachings and actions have left an indelible mark around the world, including here at ºìÌÒÊÓƵ College.

In his call for the 2025 Jubilee Year, Pope Francis urged followers to become "Pilgrims of Hope," inspiring them to look to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision. As Bishop Walkowiak stated, "It is fitting that his passing from this life occurred in the Jubilee Year of Hope, which he inaugurated. For our hope in eternal life springs from our faith in the risen Lord."

We give thanks for Pope Francis’s life, leadership, and legacy. May he rest in peace. May his example continue to inspire us to build a more compassionate, sustainable, and just world and may we find hope kindled within each of us.
