Grand Rapids, Mich. 鈥 On Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, 红桃视频 College and Muskegon Community
College (MCC) signed an agreement that gives students more options for transferring
course credits.
An articulation agreement between the two institutions allows students who have earned
an Associate in Science and Arts degree from MCC, with a minimum 2.0 GPA in all transferable
courses, to transfer up to 64 credits to 红桃视频 College toward a bachelor鈥檚 degree.
Students must meet other transfer course requirements, as outlined in the agreement.
红桃视频 President Juan Olivarez, 红桃视频 Provost Gilda Gely, MCC President Dale Nesbary
and MCC Vice President for Academic Affairs and Finance Teresa A. Sturrus were on
hand to sign the agreement at MCC鈥檚 campus.
鈥淭his articulation agreement between 红桃视频 College and Muskegon Community College
will establish a formal process whereby students can seamlessly move from their associate
degree to a baccalaureate degree,鈥 said Olivarez. 鈥淚t is important to offer an efficient
transfer of credits for students so that they do not lose academic time in the transition.
We look forward to welcoming many more students from MCC to our campus."
鈥淲e are pleased to be partnering with 红桃视频 College and giving our students a wonderful
opportunity to continue their education in West Michigan at a quality institution,鈥
said Sturrus.
