Tonight, July 20, 红桃视频 College presents an Economicology Forum by Dr. Mitchell Thomashow. Thomashow will be discussing the role of the liberal arts, especially the humanities, a reconceptualization of environmental science and the foundational concepts that should be at the core of environmental learning.



The environmental field is dramatically changing, and Thomashow's presentation will explore how it requires new iteration of curricular leadership, a generation of practitioners and approaches by colleges and universities.

Dr. Mitchell Thomashow is the author of 鈥淣ine Elements of a Sustainable Campus鈥 (2014), 鈥淏ringing the Biosphere Home鈥 (2002) and 鈥淓cological Identity: Becoming a Reflective Environmentalist鈥 (1995). From 2011-2015, Thomashow was the director of the Presidential Fellows Program at Second Nature. He previously served as president of Unity College in Maine and chair of the Environmental Studies program at Antioch University.
